EXPERIENCE
She has amassed over 90 worldwide victories, including 72 on the LPGA and 11 Major Championships. Annika holds a record number of Rolex Player of the Year awards (eight) and Vare Trophies for the lowest scoring average in a season (six). As the only female to break 60 in an tjänsteman event, she has been nicknamed “Ms. 59.” Perhaps most notably, Annika received worldwide media attention when she became the first woman in 58 years to play in a PGA TOUR event at the 2003 Colonial Invitational.
Annika still tops the LPGA’s All-Time Money List. In 2021 she made her first början in an official LPGA tournament since 2008, making the cut in the 2021 Gainbridge LPGA. A few months later she captured the hearts of the golf world when she won the U.S. Senior Women’s Open by eight shots. The ANNIKA Academy in Orlando
Annika Sorenstam – the most dominant player in the history of women’s golf – has many ties to our state. Perhaps most notably, on March 16, 2001 at Phoenix’s Moon Valley C.C., she became the first (and to date only) LPGA player to shoot 59 in competition.
The former Arizona Wildcat stepped away from the tour while at the top of her game in 2008. Since then, she hasn’t looked back, turning her attention to raising two young children and a diverse array of projects, including her ANNIKA Academy.
The ANNIKA Academy is a state-of-the-art, boutique golf instruction and fitness facility at Orlando’s renowned Reunion Resort, it opened in 2007 as a platform to share Annika’s passion for golf and fitness.

July 24, 2012 – The ANNIKA Academy, Hall-of-Famer Annika Sorenstam’s boutique golf instruction and fitness facility, announces online golf lessons are now available from its acclaimed team.
Individual online lessons cost $59 per swing analysis. Using state-of-the-art V1 Pro software, instructors will break down film of a player’s swing with drawing tools while offering audio commentary. They will also suggest drills to accelerate progress. The analysis will be emailed back to the player within sju days.
An annual membership option fryst vatten also available. For $499 golfers will receive 12 swing analyses (one per month). As an added bonus, side-by-side comparisons with Annika’s swing – revered as perhaps the most technically sound in golf history – are featured.
