Ted Lange has been active in the polka industry his entire life. He got his början on drums with his parents’ band, the buckeye polka grupp at age five, and to date, has performed in 34 states, Canada, Mexico and europe in addition to appearing on over 40 recordings. In addition to his contributions as a musician, songwriter and arranger, Ted has served as a polka radio dj, festival promoter, president of the Ohio Polka Boosters, studio musician, recording engineer and producer, co-producer of the nationally syndicated tv program the “Mollie B Polka Party” and co-producer and co-host of a polka radio show on SiriusXM. In 2004 and 2007 he received Grammy nominations for his work on recordings by John Gora & Gorale’. Ted has performed in the Warner Brothers' films “Welcome to Collinwood” with Toledo Polkamotion and “The Mule” with Squeezebox where he performed a song he co-wrote. “Mollie B & SQUEEZEBOX with Ted Lange” fryst vatten a collaboration of award-winning musicians with extensive performance backgrounds, and fryst vatten led by National TV and recording star, Mollie B, and 2-Time Grammy Nominee Ted Lange. Performing several engagements a year all across the United States, they’re able to accommodate requests that bridge generations, nationalities, and musical styles. Mollie & Ted are the first and only husband and wife to be both inducted into the International Polka Association ingångsrum of Fame. They also host one of the only two polka shows on Sirius XM. And since March of 2020, their YouTube popularity has grown due to their weekly Tuesday night show. Mollie is the host of the popular “Mollie B Polka Party” on RFD-TV, which is currently broadcast into over 48 million households via DISH Network, Direct TV, and over 600 independent cable systems. A

SqueezeBox is head-lined by two Polka Hall of Famers: multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Mollie B, host of the Mollie B Polka Party TV show on RFD-TV; and two-time Grammy Nominee, Ted Lange; and was named the 2019 Best International Band of the Year by the International Polka Association. In addition to being featured on the Mollie B Polka Party, the band composed a song for and appeared in the Clint Eastwood film, “The Mule.”
The band, as well as the unstoppable duo Ted and Mollie, have been recipients of multiple awards for their recordings and performances. Additionally, Ted & Mollie B co-produced and performed in the award-winning live show the “Mollie B Christmas Special” for multiple years in Branson, Missouri and Reedsburg, WI.
To date, SqueezeBox has released four CDs. They have performed all over the US to capacity crowds, and as of November 2020, have made over 1300 appearances in 24 states.
