    Tara graduated from the famous BRIT School in the UK, alongside Adele, Amy Winehouse, Jessie J, Leona Lewis. Aged 9, she performed in ‘’Les Miserables’’ at The Palace Theatre, London. At 12, she performed alongside Jude Law at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Also during this year she represented the UK and won the internationally televised children’s singing competition ‘’The Danny Kaye Award’’ which was hosted by Audrey Hepburn. Tara became the youngest child ambassador for UNICEF. Soon after she performed live on stage or in recording studios alongside many rock and pop legends such as Bryan Ferry (Roxy Music), Roger Taylor (Queen), Roger Walters (Pink Floyd), Andy Taylor (Duran Duran), Jocelyn Brown, Eric Clapton and Ringo Star (The Beatles). Tara worked closely with Bryan Ferry on his ‘’Dylanesque’’ album, both performing and arranging backing vocals. The first track Tara collaborated on as a songwriter was ‘’Stronger Together’’ recorded by the Irish Boy Band

    Tara Jane McDonald (born 9 September 1976) is an English singer-songwriter. She is signed to Play Two/Warner Music.

    McDonald achieved success working and co-writing with Armand van Helden and Axwell on the chart hits "My My My" and "Feel the Vibe". Both these projects debuted at number 1 in the club charts before peaking in the UK sales charts at No. 12 and No. 16, respectively. She has also collaborated with Todd Terry, co-writing the song "Get Down", and with David Guetta, co-writing "Delirious" and "You Are Not Alone" on his platinum selling album Pop Life.

    McDonald hosted her own one-hour dance music radio show called I Like This Beat (formerly called Shut Up & Dance). The program was syndicated on over 50 stations in 40 countries and released as a free podcast through iTunes.[not verified in body]
