Obituary of Marilyn M Myers
Marilyn Martin Myers, age 87, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 21st after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. Marilyn was born on October 3, in Albion, NY to Kenneth and Edith Martin. She is predeceased by her parents, her beloved husband of 46 years, Clifford Myers, and her brother, Edward Martin. Marilyn is survived by her two children, Ken Myers (Beth) and Greta Myers (Bill Murphy), her two granddaughters, Kate Petcosky-Kulkarni (Abhishek) and Anna Petcosky, her sister, Donna Heisig, her nephews, Steven Heisig, Paul Heisig (Dawn), Chris Heisig and Dan Martin (Barbara), her niece Deb Martin (Tony Hadzi), her grandniece Kara Mahlmeister, her grandnephews Peter Heisig (Emily), Adam Heisig, Shane Martin and Cole Mahlmeister, and her former son-in-law, Thomas Petcosky, as well as her many close friends from Good Shephard Village in Endwell and her church. Of Clio, age 89, died Sunday, August 29, at Maple Woods Manor. The funeral service will take place pm, onsdag på engelska , September 1, at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris, with cremation to follow. MargieAaas family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Tuesday, from pm to pm. Margie was born April 2, in Cass Lake , Minnesota the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George and Gerlean (Gardner) Davis. She and John Walter Bryson, Sr. were united in marriage in Flint, Michigan. He preceded her in death. Margie would later meet and marry Marshall Myers. He preceded her in death. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, her animals and helping others. Marilyn Myers Peyton
Marylyn E. (Myers) Holcomb Peyton, passed away in Sun City West, Arizona, on January 20, , a month short of her 94th birthday. She was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on February 25, , to Gaylord W. Myers and Mary B. Scoggins Myers. She grew up in Lawrence, KS and then Des Moines, Iowa. As a young girl Marylyn became intrigued with flying, through making and flying model airplanes. She also saw a barn-stormer perform, and went for a ride, and from then on she was fascinated with clouds, the sky, and the thrill of flying.
She left High School in order to work for United Airlines at the Des Moines airport, and to learn to fly. As an agent, she chocked wheels, handled luggage, took tickets, prepared weather reports, and worked the radio communications for the airport. In her spare time, and with her own money, she took flying lessons beginning in , and became licensed as a pilot. She was also a member of the Civil Air Patrol.
