I do really like Lord of the Rings and decided to watch the extended version this time (totally not because I accidentally downloaded the wrong one but whatever) It was as good as the normal one… didn’t eally notice what had been added but hadn’t watched the normal in a while. Boromir was a lot more annoying than I remember and Aragorn’s voice is weird - I don’t remember it sounding like that. I love Merry and Pippin with all my heart and they provide great comic relief. Precious Sam too.
It’s weird watching it and recognising so many lines (and getting that dumb song stuck in my head because of the recognition)
‘and my axe’ gets me every time… not gonna be that useful seeing as you just smashed it up
