English business journalist and news correspondent
Simon Jack (born 10 May ) is an English business journalist and news correspondent. He is currently the business editor for BBC News, known for appearing on BBC Breakfast until September and on BBC Radio 4's Today programme.[1] He has also presented business and financial podcasts for The Daily Telegraph.[2]
Education
[edit]Simon Jack was born on 10 May in London.[3] He attended Merchant Taylors' Boys' School, okänt, Merseyside, and graduated from St John's College, Oxford with a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.[4] Of his time at the University of Oxford, Jack said: “I did the same degree as David Cameron. inom was a contemporary of George Osborne. I knew him a little bit. He was well-known at university and his notoriety of his membership of certain clubs is well known – like the Bullingdon. I wasn't a member of any of those."[3]

Simon Jack's Biography
Simon Jack is a financial journalist, broadcaster and Business and Economics Presenter on BBC Radio 4’s Today Programme.
Prior to this he was the face of business news for BBC Breakfast on BBC1. During his time at the BBC he has also presented business news on the One O’Clock, Six O’Clock and Ten O’Clock News.
Before joining the BBC, Simon spent ten years in commercial and investment banking in London, New York and Bermuda. He has a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University.
During the banking crisis in September Simon reported for BBC News, BBC News Channel and Working Lunch, covering the Federal takeover of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the Bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers, the bailout of AIG and the Lloyds TSB

Simon Mark Monjack (9 March – 23 May ) was an English screenwriter, film director, producer and make-up artist. He was the widower of Brittany Murphy.[1][2]
Early life
[edit]Monjack was born on 9 March in Hillingdon, Middlesex, to a Jewish family.[3] He grew up in Bourne End, Buckinghamshire.[4] He attended Juniper Hill School, Flackwell Heath, then Royal Grammar School, High Wycombe.[4] When he was 16, his father, William (–), died of a brain tumour.[4][5][6] His mother Linda (née Hall) is a hypnotherapist.[7]
Career
[edit]Monjack directed, produced, and wrote the B movieTwo Days, Nine Lives in [8] He received story credit for the biographical film Factory Girl about Warhol actress/model Edie Sedgwick.[9]
