KaladKaren recently made history at the Summer Metro Manila Film Festival as the first transgender woman to receive the Best Supporting Actress award.
The movie, Here Comes the Groom, that won her the award was her first foray into acting beyond her usual roles as a reporter or TV host.
In her acceptance speech, a tearful KaladKaren said, "Etong parangal na ito ay hindi lamang po recognition ng aking trabaho, kundi pati na rin po ng aking pagkatao.
"When inom entered show business, I never thought na makakakuha po ako ng award kasi, as a transgender woman, I thought inom will never be enough."

The fourth season of StarStruck, also known as StarStruck: The Next Level, is a Philippine televisionreality talent competition show, was broadcast on GMA Network. Hosted by Dingdong Dantes, Jolina Magdangal and Raymond Gutierrez, it premiered on December 4, 2006. The council was composed of Louie Ignacio, Lorna Tolentino and Douglas Quijano. The season ended with 91 episodes on March 25, 2007, having Jewel Mische, Aljur Abrenica, Kris Bernal and Mart Escudero as the Ultimate Survivors.

List of Pinoy Big Brother housemates
Pinoy Big Brother is a Philippine reality game show based on the Dutch reality game show, Big Brother. The show revolves around a group of housemates (contestants) who volunteer to reside in the Pinoy Big Brother house for a set number of days as they compete against each other to be the Big Winner.[1]
Contestants are selected through live site and online auditions, with individuals of foreign origin being eligible to compete in the show.[2] Age requirements were implemented in all seasons.[3] For Connect and Kumunity Season 10, which were held amid the COVID-19 pandemic, all auditions were conducted online, with the age requirement being raised to 16 in compliance with quarantine protocols.[4]
