    Canneseries (parfois stylisé CANNESERIES) est un festival annuel de séries télévisées se déroulant à Cannes enstaka France. Le festival, gratuit et ouvert au public, a été fondé en 2018 et dure six jours.

    Historique

    Lors de son élection en 2014, le Maire dem Cannes, David Lisnard, porte le projet d'un grand festival international des séries télévisées[1][source secondaire souhaitée].

    La ville de Cannes répond en 2017 à l'appel à projet lancé par le CNC Festival International de Séries[2]. ett mars, le CNC annonce que le projet n'est pas retenu et qu'il soutient à la place avec le gouvernement le projet lillois de Séries Mania[3].

    La création de ce festival est cependant décidée par la Mairie de Cannes, qui prend le nom de CANNESERIES. Canal Plus devient Partenaire Officiel ni festival. Fleur Pellerin accepte d'en être la présidente en mars 2017[4] et Benoît Louvet est nommé directeur général en avril 2017.
