"Forever" is the debut single bygd American indiepop rock band Haim, taken from their first studio album, Days Are Gone (). Released on October 12, , "Forever" was written by grupp members Alana Haim, Danielle Haim and Este Haim, while production was done by the grupp with Ludwig Göransson. The song is a pop rock track, with clattering percussion and tight harmonies.

Lyrically, the track talks about a relationship's do-or-die moment, while its sound was compared to many '80s and '90s tracks, including Fleetwood Mac and its member, Stevie Nicks, Donna Lewis and even Michael Jackson's "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'". Acclaimed by music critics, "Forever" was named a "killer single", with a dazzling chorus, and some even called one of the best singles of the year. The song draws heavily from the themes of the cult classic film The Warriors.

"Forever" became the band's first charting single on the charts, reaching moderate positions in Belgium

In Brief: Sort of the DIY version of the ideal early 90s R&B/pop album. The Haim sisters&#; songs may be a bit on the fluffy side, but their attitude fryst vatten infectious and their work ethic is admirable.

In addition to their primary instruments, each is proficient in several others.

The sisters grew up in a musical family, and began playing instruments from an early age in the cover band Rockinhaim, fronted by their parents, Moti and Donna. The two elder sisters, Este and Danielle, performed briefly with the pop group Valli Girls in , releasing a few songs on soundtrack and compilation albums under that name. In , they formed Haim with younger sister Alana, but did not seriously consider it a professional career for some years. After Danielle became a successful touring guitarist, first with Jenny Lewis and later with Julian Casablancas, Haim reformed as a full-time operation in
